La Rural Trumpeter Chardonnay

Average of $10 on Wine-searcher for the 2007 and the 2008.

This wine was part of a tasting in a bar, so I couldn’t find the year, though I’m positive it is either the 2007 or 2008.

Numerous shadoes of yellow. Almost golden even. Quite nice.

In the nose, you can find hints of pineapple, vanilla, and honey.

Taste is of honey and fruits, but the wine has a nice balance between bitterness and sweetness. Nice versatility to it. It has little acidity and goes down very smoothly. Just a little bitter and weak for my taste. Nothing extraordinary about it.
