Los Cardos Chardonnay

$7-$10 for the 2007 and the 2008.

I got this wine at a cheap restaurant in Peru (again, they don’t show the year for wines, nor do they bring out the wine bottles to your table), so I was unable to check the year, but I suspect it was the 2007 or 2008.

The chardonnay has a dark, foggy, golden color—pretty nice. Nice, fresh, fruit aroma.

Very smooth and light, with lots of bitterness. Not much aftertaste either. Also, it’s extremely one-dimensional. Just a mouthful of bitterness.
