New Beer Section Coming!
Beer has, for the last couple years, been the one area of my drinking life that I’ve been neglecting. Most of the attention goes to fancy wines or spirits, since they’re more “refined,” but truth be told, there’s nothing quite as American as beer-drinking. I’m thinking it’s time to bring beer to the forefront and give it its fair due as one of the most accessible of all liquors.
That said, I’m no beer expert, and I make no claim to be one. Instead, I myself will be learning the ropes through a series of tastings hosted by Beeritas, the Harvard Law Beer Drinking Society.
I know what you may be thinking. A beer society at Harvard? The answer is yes. This isn’t some excuse to drink excessively for no reason. Rather, it’s an opportunity to systematically taste beer, learning its nuances little by little by trying several different varieties at a time and then discussing in a group.
I hope you’ll all join me as I delve into beer straight on, guided by my peers. Along the way, I may not provide the most refined notes, but I guarantee you that it will be a learning experience, as much for myself as for others.
Expect notes from my first tasting up shortly.

We just have the same journey. I’m also not an expert in beer but would love to learn it too. I’m with you in your journey.
